Shapes hiding in the workshop...

Thursday, 30 June 2011
Can you believe its Friday again tommorow... I cant. Ive had long days this week and am looking forward to bit of a rest at the weekend. I may try to get the second crochet cover finished... The picture above shows the end of my work table in mid-bag-bedlam...
I was very inspired by hidden shapes this week. They seemed to pop up everywhere... This was like a sky searching forest or maybe a tall craggy mountain...
These were like a pot of flowers, but unlike any flower imagineable...
And this little fellow flew up from the work table determined to be noticed... Naturally I had to build a bag around him... Simple and yet it embodies everything about that wise saying that 'Less is more'...

Im packing orders this afternoon, continuing to cut and sew shoe orders till after tea and then later this evening I shall start listing new stock in the Fairysteps main shop...

There will be:
CLEMMIE - in ecotan garnet, nightshade and thyme.
DAPHNE - in mulberry antique with a wonderful ragtag.
ELDER - in mulberry antique and plum with button accents and another long ragtag.
WREN - a new style (peep above) in garnet ecotan.
JINKS x 4 - in Lichen/plum, mulberry, thyme/garnet x2.

I shall then snuggle down into a downy bed of dandelion seeds and sleep. Now wouldnt that be a nice!
