Come in Daphne darling...

Meet Daphne darling... Yes, of course you can come in.
The tiddlywinks smuggled her home (makes them sound like sheep rustlers... they are at lambing time) on Thursday. Ive been waking up to her little high heels tippy tapping on my bedroom floor. Jim jam clad little people come and remove her before she widdles... once again in the house...
She is the third of a triplet and sadly wasnt wanted.
We even have a little purpose made lamb coat made by the children several years ago now. Its perfect for keeping tiny babies warm in the early days. They are all the rage in woolly circles...
She has impeccable taste... Yes of course you can stay Daphne darling!

  3. Little Daphne is very lucky to have you and the tiddlywinks, seeing as her own mama has her hooves full :)

  5. Oohh, she is just scrumptious! And what couture--wearing that cute coat. She doesn't even look real in the first photo--a real live doll is what she reminded me of.

What a lucky lamb to have such a family to look after her!

  6. I'd better not show my daughter these pics, she'd be in raptures! It's bad enough listening to her high pitched cooing while we're in the car going past fields with lambs! (Can't blame her mind, I'm quite envious of you!)xx

  8. awwww :) brings back memories of the 3 orphan lambs we had as kids, they were called baabaa, zoe and molly :) Zoe was clever, molly was dumb, baabaa was always in trouble!

  9. I've been thinking about adopting a lamb. I crochet, and I'd love to learn to spin and dye my own yarns. Are they hard to keep?

  11. What do they eat? Could I keep just one or are they very social creatures who need a friend?
