A trip to Wistmans...

Wednesday, 4 May 2011
Out across the Moor the weekend before last...
When the sun was shining and casting a misty glow...
Shedding dappled shade onto these ancient gnarled Oaks...
My Tulip shoes went exploring amongst the mossy boulders...
As did Mr Fairysteps's Dapperby boots...
We had tea... of course...
Middlest 'flolloped' on the rocks...
Mrs Fairysteps posed...
The trees did what trees always do best... they watched.
Littlest danced...
This one reminded me of a giant nose, complete with nostril... can you see it?
There were many fairy doors...
And tiny worlds atop mossy heights...
Layers of granite...
Ferns and lichens literally 'drip' from the trees...
Elves...
And Fairy Shoemakers...
Twinkling streams...
Golden valleys...
And water sprites... cooling down from the hot sun...

We went to Fairyland...

  8. So beautiful. Hubby and I recently decided we wanted to move permanently to UK (particularly the SW) and have found SO many new laws on immigration. As we are both U.S. citizens it seems so hard.
I shall have to enjoy your lovely photos instead.
