Shetland hexagon adventure update... and sunshine

Friday, 26 February 2010
At last some of the yellow stuff dropped out of the sky today... about time too! It made the woolly nest glow...
Remember the bag of Shetland wool?
I finished my first group of 6 while I waited for my tiny Ballerina...
I was going to just use random colours BUT decided yesterday that I would turn this into a Grandmothers flower garden theme and use black for the borders. It really shows up the bright hexagon 'flowers' a treat.
Im feeling a little uninspired as to what to knit next so carrying on with the blanket is a good alternative!
Did you spot my new spectacle case? My bestest friend bought it for me as a birthday gift from Cath Kidston. I love the pattern and colours! Thank you Lulu xx

  4. What a beautiful room to work in! Hmmm, I really need a bigger studio...definitely need a long table like yours, I keep having to move downstairs and spread all over the dining room table because my studio desk isn't big enough!
